THE FLAT ROCK TASTING

The Flat Rock Tasting brings to life the convivial spirit of wine and encourages conversation and enjoyment at your own pace. The experience takes place in The Observatory; our newly renovated, tasting room that immediately captivates with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the iconic Flat Rock Vineyard, Lake Ontario and the Toronto skyline. Choose your wines while our Rockstar team leads you on a entertaining and educational wine journey with a few surprises along the way.
Once seated you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade to one of our ever-evolving feature flights and add cheese and charcuterie pairings to your tasting.

THE PATIO FLIGHT

Our Patio Flights offer a casual and experience, blending great wine and picturesque vineyard views from our Green Roof Patio. With our wine caddy, specially designed for two, you can choose a flight of four wines served in 4oz carafes that are ideal for sharing and sipping at your own pace. Come up to the container to place your order and add on snacks from our ever-evolving locally sourced menu.
Space on our patio is available on weekends. Live music on Saturdays from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
BACKSTAGE TOUR
$25. Includes private tour and 3 wines. Approximately 45 minutes.

A Senior Rockstar will lead you on this 30-minute private venture into the lifecycle of wine from the vine to your dinner table. You will begin in the vineyard, discussing our sustainable farming practices, and follow the journey of grapes through the state-of-the-art five-level gravity flow production facility and down into the barrel cellar. Sample three of our signature wines along the way as you learn the secrets behind our international success.
Step behind the scenes, beyond the tasting room, and immerse yourself in the wondrous process of making world-class wine.

Take a seat in the comfy leather chairs of our newly renovated tasting space, The Observatory. Overlooking the rows of vines and Toronto skyline in the distance, we’ll take a deep dive into the 20+ year history of award winning Pinot Noir at Flat Rock Cellars.
Each flight is perfectly paired with a curated plate of local cheese and charcuterie to enhance the experience.

Cancellation Policy: A credit card is required at the time of booking all tours to secure your reservation. We require 48 hours notice to cancel your tour without penalty. Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a 50% deposit charge. No shows without notification will be charged the full tour amount. Cancellation penalties will be charged to the credit card on file.
