2008 Riesling named Best White at InterVin

Posted October 29, 2009

Flat Rock Cellars' 2008 Riesling was named the Best White Wine at the 2009 InterVin International Wine Awards in a press release today from the competition organizers.  The entered wines were judged blind over 3 days in September by a panel of distinguished sommeliers, wine writers, educators and winemakers who assessed more than 750 wines from 16 countries.

More information about the winners will be available in the National Post's "Drinks Quarterly" section on Saturday, November 14th.

This is not the first time the Estate Riesling won top prize at a competition.  Past vintages of the same wine have also won Best White at the Canadian Wine Awards on two separate occasions.

Limited quantities of this vintage are available through our online store or by calling the winery directly at (905) 562-8994.  We can ship anywhere in Ontario (shipping rates vary by location).  You must be 19 years of age or older to purchase.
